Britannia falls…and with it, British workers once again get betrayed
Another day, another hotel handed over to migrants and another British workforce thrown onto the scrapheap.
Today, it’s the Britannia Hotel on the Isle of Dogs, a functioning and busy establishment that serves the local economy, employs hard working staff and welcomed tourists from around the world, is now shuttered, closed to the public and transformed overnight into a migrant hub. Four hundred rooms, gone. Staff?… laid off without notice, no consultation, no support, no safety net. Just a “sorry, your job’s gone, the government’s taking over now.”
And for what?…to house illegal immigrants who’ve crossed our borders by boat, aided and abetted by a Government so spineless and obsessed with appeasing international “human rights” groups, they’ve stopped defending the rights of the British people.
Let’s not beat around the bush, this is utterly disgusting.
Tourists turned up today to a locked up hotel, dragging their suitcases away in disbelief, bookings just cancelled.
Videos are already going viral on X. “Sorry, no rooms, that hotel now belongs to the Channel migrants .” one man shouted.
Is this how we present Britain to the world now?…shutting down hotels for migrants, while holidaymakers are left on the street?
And what about the workers?…what about the cleaners, receptionists, bar staff, cooks, porters and all the real people with rent to pay, families to support?…these people didn’t just lose their jobs, they were tossed aside like they meant nothing, all so our government can tick another box for the NGOs and the immigration lobby.
The left claim to be the champions of workers’ rights. Labour MPs parade themselves as defenders of the working class. Where are they now?…where’s the outrage at people being fired overnight?…where’s the defence of local workers, local communities, and the right to earn a living. They’re silent, because to them, it’s not about workers anymore, it’s about open borders, virtue signalling, and photo ops. They’ll cry over Rwanda flights, but say nothing about the growing number of unverified, unvetted and largely male migrants being dumped into British towns, villages and now hotels, without consent from the people who live there.
And while they celebrate “compassion,” crime is spiralling. The stats don’t lie, sex crimes, assaults and antisocial behaviour are increasing in areas where these hotels are being used to house large numbers of young men with little oversight or accountability.
Why?…because we’re not allowed to ask questions, or we’re labelled racist, xenophobic, and “far-right”, just for demanding that our own people be put first in our own country.
We are an island nation that now cannot control its borders. That cannot say “no” to illegal crossings, that cannot even defend its own workers’ rights, hotel jobs, or local tourism industry. What are we anymore?
We’ve handed over hundreds of hotels across Britain, hotels that once hosted family weddings, business trips, weekend getaways…now used to house migrants who have arrived illegally, while millions of Brits queue for housing, NHS appointments, or can’t even find a job.
The Britannia Hotel is just the latest domino, but this story is happening up and down the country, behind closed doors, with zero transparency and it’s the British people who are footing the bill, financially, socially, and morally.
This isn’t immigration policy… it’s national humiliation.
Enough is enough.

As Nigel says, we are heading for huge civil unrest. The British people are at breaking point and it is just a matter of time. Not if … but when!
Thank goodness you joined Substack recently, Adam. This is brilliant journalism at its best. You’re there on the ground telling it like it is. I seem to remember you said you weren’t a writer. You absolutely are! Thank you.
